Welcome to the home page of the Guernsey Camerata

The Guernsey Camerata performs concerts in Spring and Autumn each year. The Camerata was formed in 1992 and comprises a mixture of career musicians and keen amateurs who practice and perform music in addition to their day-jobs. The orchestra also has an educational role providing orchestral experience to some of the more advanced students on the island. In addition, we bring in professional players (usually from a small group of regulars) to lead the four string sections and employ professional conductors and soloists for the concerts.

Putting on concerts is an expensive business and the orchestra is very grateful for the help received from our sponsors, BWCI, and from the Guernsey Arts Commission
